Welcome to this charming holiday home, set in the heart of Sweden, in Hova. The cottage is set only 75 metres from lake Skagern and is surrounded by woodlands and fields.


The cottage features an open-plan living room/ kitchen with the basic kitchen appliances. The living room has a sofa, a Tv, and a wood-burning stove, and it opens onto the lovely conservatory and the covered terrace. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. You will find another two beds in the annex. The bathroom is equipped with a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine.


The nearest grocery stores are in Gullspång, 9 kilometres away, and Hova, 12 kilometres away. Both of the towns have grocery stores that are open seven days a week. In Gullspång, you will find a tourist office and Systembolaget, where you can buy wine, beer, and spirits.


The cottage has WiFi and theres a binder with information about the area and useful telephone numbers. The national park of Tiveden (30 minutes away by car) is a must-see, as are the red water lilies of Fagertärn, and the castle Stjernsunds Slott. Hova arranges a medieval market, with jousting, one week a year, which you might be able to catch. The channel Göta Kanal is nearby and theres a golf course in Ribbingsfors. The town of Mariestad is an hours drive from the cottage and the water park Skara Sommarland is also within driving distance!
