We were promised an American coffee maker, but there was none in our apartment. We NEVER figured out the washer. The directions for using it was given VERY quickly when we arrived. It was situated on the lower perimieter of Cortona which meant everything was uphill, but we expected this. It had a small, well presented outside space/garden which had the most fantastic view over the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. The owner was very helpful, welcoming and speaks very good English. The only negative point we would raise is that the particular apartment we rented (No 3) was very noisy as it adjoined the main entrance for the upper apartments and sounds echoed in the stairway. It was situated on the lower perimieter of Cortona which meant everything was uphill, but we expected this. It had a small, well presented outside space/garden which had the most fantastic view over the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. The owner was very helpful, welcoming and speaks very good English. The only negative point we would raise is that the particular apartment we rented (No 3) was very noisy as it adjoined the main entrance for the upper apartments and sounds echoed in the stairway.
