Villa Alabastro is a beautiful country house, skilfully restored in the Tuscan tradition. You will have at your disposal two spacious and comfortable independent apartments where you will feel at ease in a genuinely familiar environment. A warm and welcoming atmosphere in an enchanting place that we are sure will win you over. Villa Alabastro is located within the farm and the owners also live a few steps away, who will pamper you and be a sure reference point for all your needs.
You will find the farmhouse in the tranquillity of the beautiful hills of the Alta Val di Cecina, with a beautiful view of endless, ever-changing natural landscapes. Soft green hills, expanses of golden cultivated fields and endless blue skies, all of which you can enjoy from the garden and your swimming pool. The perfect place, in our opinion, for an unforgettable holiday.
The Etruscan city of Volterra is only 10 km away and a little further away you will find all the most famous art cities of Tuscany: San Gimignano 25 km, Pisa 50 km, Siena 65 km, Florence 75 km and the beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea 50 km. If you love nature you can, on foot or by mountain bike, plan fantastic excursions along 'ecological' roads, with appropriate signposting, that will lead you to discover the infinite natural and artistic beauties of the area.
In the large green area around the farmhouse you will find the beautiful swimming pool, completely fenced in and for private use (size 10x5 metres, depth 1.10-1.50 metres - open from 01st May to 30th September). In the garden, for your dinners in the open air with your family and friends there is an equipped gazebo, outdoor furniture and barbecue. On the ground floor a comfortable common room equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, blender and freezer, perfect for breakfast or an evening with friends.

En caso de cancelación de la reserva, incluso si se sustituye por otra, se aplican las siguientes penalizaciones:
- el depósito inicial (25% del total del alquiler) si la cancelación se realiza entre el momento de la reserva y hasta 46 días antes de la fecha de llegada;
- el 100% del total del alquiler si la cancelación se hace desde 45 días hasta la fecha de llegada o en caso de no presentarse.

De woning was ruimer en mooier dan op de foto's. Ook de ligging tussen de akkers haal je niet uit de foto's en omschrijving wat echt geweldig is.
de eigenaar(s) zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam ook al spreken de mannen echt alleen maar Italiaans kwamen wij met google translate er overal uit ;-)
voor een vakantie met je gezin en/of vrienden en je gaat echt voor rust en uitzicht is dit DE plaats om te boeken.
het dorpje Volterra is een kleine 20 min rijden (leuk kronkel weggetje de berg op) waar een x aantal supermarkten zijn die de gehele dag open zijn (Coop op zondag middag niet) en zeker de moeite waard om het dorp een bezoekje te geven. vele leuke winkeltjes en restaurants wachten gewoon op je ;-). Op 3 min afstand (met de auto) zit een restaurant/hotel/pizzaria waar ze ook de broodnodige dingen verkopen (beleg, drinken, brood?) en die erg goed is.
alle faciliteiten en benodigdheden zijn gewoon aanwezig in het huisje zelfs de dingen waar je niet zelf niet aan gedacht zou hebben.
Wifi is (aldus de kinderen) goed als deze werkt maar valt wel geregeld weg
Al met al een top vakantie gehad met een uitzicht die geweldig is (bij zonsondergang echt de berg beklimmen achter het huis voor een top uitzicht daarvan).
wij komen zeker terug als we weer in die buurt zoeken!!

For a holiday with family and/or friends looking for peace and quiet and a view, this is THE place to book.
The village of Volterra is a short 20-minute drive away (a nice winding road up the mountain). There are several supermarkets open all day (Coop is closed on Sunday afternoons). It's definitely worth a visit. Many lovely shops and restaurants are waiting for you ;-). A 3-minute drive away (by car) is a restaurant/hotel/pizzeria that sells essentials (sandwich fillings, drinks, bread, etc.) and is excellent.
All amenities and necessities are provided in the house, even things you wouldn't have thought of yourself. The Wi-Fi is (according to the children) good when it works, but it does drop out frequently.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday with a breathtaking view (at sunset, be sure to climb the mountain behind the house for a fantastic view).

Ein wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung, herzliche Gastgeber und alles ist da, was man braucht um einen schönen Urlaub in der Toskana zu erleben, ist hier vorhanden. Sehr zentral waren alle Ziele, wie San Gimignano, Pisa, Florenz, Siena und viele weitere Ausflugsziele in annehmbarer Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Die Nähe zu Volterra ist für Einkauf und abendliche Besuche der mittelalterlichen Stadt sehr vorteilhaft.
Einziges Manko ist die Verständigung mit den Gastgebern ohne Italienischkenntnisse, aber mit Händen und Füßen gelang dies gut. Man bekommt einen kleinen Einblick in den Landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb und die Familie ist sehr zuvorkommend und kinderfreundlich. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt.
Alles in allem war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus. Wir waren 2 Familien und würden hier immer wieder gern herkommen.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

The location of the villa is amazing. There are beautiful views, plenty of space outdoors and it is convenient to be able to visit multiple places throughout Tuscany. The town of Poggibonsi is quite nice. It isn't touristy so the prices are very good for food. The space inside the villa is very roomy, we had 7 adults and 3 children and never felt cramped. It was very nice having laundry facilities on site. Matteo was a gracious host and we enjoyed meeting him and his family. The pool was very relaxing and it was great just to spend the afternoon outdoors with a bottle of wine while the kids swam. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby castles and exploring the area. We especially enjoyed seeing the fireflies at night and the deer and pheasants in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here.

Das beste zuerst: der Pool, groß, gepflegt, separat eingezäunt, super gut.
Das Haus ist ok, die Einrichtung eher spartanisch - keine Geschirrspülmaschine, keine Ablageflächen in der Küche, im Gemeinschaftsraum ein Gefrierschrank (kein Kühlschrank). Ein Tümpel oberhalb des Hauses ist vermutlich die Quelle vieler Stechmücken (Anfang September).
Wenn man diese Punkte akzeptiert, ist es ein nettes Haus, schöne Lage, viele touristische Ziele in kurzer Entfernung.
