In the surroundings of the villa the renters have the possibility of purchasing typical local grocers directly from the producers, such as olive oil, wine, eggs, sheep meat and cheese.

The archeological sites of Velia (about 5 km) and Paestum (30 km or so) are worth a visit; and also the nice Grotte di Palinuro, or even Capri, can be reached by boat easily.

There is a nice garden and a terraced hill. The space around the house is over 300 square meters of which part stone and part grass adorned with geraniums and Etruscan type amphorae and the outline is filled with olive trees characteristic of the original flora of the area. The outdoor area is for the exclsuive use of the guests, there are no other houses. The landscape is mostly hilly (Tuscan style) and it's very tranquil.
