Ancient villa dating back to 1700 situated just outside Siena, only 6 km from the city center away. This villa has been recently restored preserving its original architectural features such as the beautiful terracotta-tiled floors and charming beamed ceilings.
This villa is quietly located on the border between the Chianti region and Siena area, in the heart of a large 17-hectare estate producing olive oil.
This property comprises a main house with 2 units (internally connected by a beautiful stone staircase) and a charming outbuilding situated approx. 10 m away (these 3 accommodations are rentable only together as a private villa). The interiors are furnished in a rustic style with some antique pieces. The outside areas offer a beautiful shaded garden and a nice swimming-pool set in sunny location among olive trees.

1st floor: large living-room with doble sofa-bed, small dining-room (satellite TV), kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, washing-machine) with small dining area, double bedroom (the bed is 140 wide), twin-bedded room, bathroom with shower.
Nice 10-square-meter terrace with table and chairs accessible both from the first floor and from the garden.
The kitchen on the ground floor offers a dining facilities for 10 people.
Outbuilding (10 meters away from the main villa)
Ground floor dining-room (TV) with living area and kitchen corner (2 electric plates), double bedroom (air-conditioning) with access on to the outside and bathroom with shower.

A truly wonderful location close to Siena, with superb views across farmland to the towers of Siena on the horizon. Totally private pool area, with shade from olive trees all around - you may have to skim the pool each day for bugs and dropped olive blossom, but that was all part of the experience. The owner Jacopo has his own (truly wonderful) converted house next door, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended.
