Beautiful property nestling deep in the country-side area surrounding the small historic town of Pitignano dating back to the Etruscan time and fascinating for its location and for the architecture of its houses perched on top of a hill of tufa. This property is situated in the southern part of Tuscany on the border with Lazio, and is also very close to the border with Umbria.
This property comprises 8 accommodations and provides large outdoor area. All of the units have a personal, furnished outdoor area. Guests can also enjoy use of a tennis court and of beautiful pool surrounded by a large lawn with olive trees.
The interiors are simply furnished and welcoming.
The key-holders (a couple) live in a 8th accommodations on the premises.
This property is in ideal location for those seeking the tranquility of the countryside and at the same time wish to visit the beauties of southern Tuscany (Pitigliano, Sovana, Saturnia) of the coast-line area (Maremma, Argentario, Talamone, Capalbio) and Lazio (Lake Bolsena , Montefiascone, Viterbo).

We spent a wonderful 12 nights here in August. The accommodation was basic (only added to the charm for us) in beautiful grounds and was super clean. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and a welcome treat in between all our exploring. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating despite our mutual language barriers (we promise to learn more Italian next time!) the surrounding area is absolutely stunning! Pitigliano is only a few minutes drive and took my breath away each time we visited. Saturnia hot springs are also close by and a must see. Plenty of places to venture just a little further too also including Lake Bolsensa (recommend pre booking a boat rental) and Monte Argentario. If you don’t mind a little more driving Rome, Siena, Montepulciano, to name a few, are all easily accesible. We had an amazing trip. This accommodation was a great base and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Schöne, schattige (z.T. etwas viel Feuchtigkeit, so dass Wäsche klamm war) und sehr geräumige Wohnung - für 2 Leute prima, sogar Waschmaschine und Geschirrspülmaschine. Sehr ruhig gelegen, dennoch nah an Pitigliano und Savona und den vielen Wandermöglichkeiten. Jedes Häuschen hat seinen eigenen Sitzbereich - angenehme Privatsphäre. Superschön ist der Poolbereich! La permanenza nella casa di Pitigliano è stata molto bella per la nostra famiglia di 5 persone. Siamo stati bene, le foto rendono bene le caratteristiche della casa e della piscina. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich, ein Auto ist ein Muss. Die Unterkünfte liegen schattig inmitten eines Waldes, unsere war gut ausgestattet. Der große Pool (ca. 18-20 m lang) ist ein Traum! Sehr herzliche Inhaberfamilie und freundlicher Verwalter. Ein ruhiger und erholsamer Aufenthalt!
