This charming holiday home is set in beautiful surroundings in Ädelfors, in the north of Småland. The well-equipped cottage features a sauna and has a large natural garden plot of 1000 square metres, and theres a good chance youll see elk and deer on the garden plot.



Inside, you will find a large, well-equipped kitchen with a wood cooker as well as an electric cooker. The living room is large and beautifully decorated. It is equipped with a fireplace, a TV, a DVD-player, and a sofa bed for two. The master bedroom features a double bed and the smaller bedroom has a bunk bed. Ther cottage has two bathrooms, both have WC:s and washbasins, one has a shower and the other bathroom has a bath tub. The sauna is next to the shower room.



The area is well-known for its old goldmine which is located 2 kilometres from the cottage. This was one of Swedens very first goldmines. You can try your hand at panning for gold in the river Emån in Ädelfors. Theres also a mining museum in Ädelfors, it has one of Swedens best collections of minerals from all of the world. The mine Kleva Gruva is 13 kilometres away and is from the late 1600s.



Småland offers many interesting places suitable for day trips. The charming town of Vimmerby is only 1 hour away, by car. This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgrens beloved childrens books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgrens World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The town of Kalmar is another great destination for an excursion. It is set by Kalmarsund and you can drive right over the bridge to the charming island of Öland.
