This holiday cottage is located by the beautiful Lyngen Fjord on the island of Uløya, 50 meters from unit 97675. This is a great spot for sport fishing and for nature enthusiasts. The house was originally a barn, but is today completely renovated into a charming holiday house. From the house and the terrace, enjoy the stunning view of the fjord and mighty mountains of Lyngsalpene, Europes northernmost alps. The area is perfect for experiencing Northern Lights on clear winter nights. In summer, you can experience midnight sun from the terrace. You have access to a barbecue hut where you can put your own catch on the grill. This hut is shared with unit 97674. The fjord is known for being rich with fish, and halibut, salmon and trout are possible to catch. By the dock 100 meters from the house, you can rent an 18 ft Hansvik Fisker with a small cabin in front, 40 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor, Garmin sonar, chart plotter and 4 rod holders. Rent an extra boat, a 19 ft Silver Viking with a small open cabin in front, 50 hp Mercury 4-stroke motor, handheld chartplotter/gps, sonar Furuno fish finder and 4 rod holders. The boats are available between May 5th and October 1st and must be booked in advance. Shared with unit 97674, the boat house has a fish cleaning table with running water and lighting. Store your fishing equipment here. Uløya has a great hiking terrain and skiing terrain in winter. The house has a TV with 30 channels and free wireless internet, and a 400 liter freezer. The double bed is 120 cm wide. Access a washing machine in the basement of unit 97674. The car ferry from Rotsund to Havnnes departs several times a day and takes 10 minutes.
