Lovely villa and owner - but dont go if you dont like the sound of dogs howling from nearby dog kennel! We jsut wanted to leave the villa every day to escape!

Comfortable villa in beautiful garden and grounds. An ideal base for exploring Tuscany, but head inland rather than for the coast. The villa is located in grounds with a vineyard and olive groves, and has sea views from the main bedroom - could have made more of this in the description.

This property was perfect for 2 families. The property is peaceful & surrounded by vineyards, yet only 5minutes from town with its gelati shop & reasonably priced restaurants. We all enjoyed the pool surrounded by beautiful views on all sides. Florence is only 30 minutes by train. This property is only 20 minutes from the autostada. This property has large gardens all lit up at night automatically which was very useful. Massimo the owner was very kind & helpful. We all, that is 4 adults & 6 teenagers, were very happy with this property. We had a brilliant holiday, a true taste of Tuscany.

Villa was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got a different unit with smaller kitchen but we enjoyed it very much anyway.
Great location, great and friendly service, great local wine:).
We'll be back there pretty soon with more friends.

The villa is quite remote and very, very quiet. So if one is looking for a complete break from urban / city life, La Puzzola is a great place!

This villa is in a beautiful location and the quality of the property is excellent. It is tranquil and the evening in particular wonderful with fabulous views over the mountains. There is a quarry on the mountain opposite, but don't let this put you off, it is very unobstrusive. It takes about 1/2 an hour to get to Lucca which is a wonerful town and the trains to Pisa and Florence are cheap and regular. We would certainly return to this property again.
