Abbiamo trascorso settimana di ferragosto presso questa struttura; 2 famiglie di adulti complessivamente 10 persone e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Posizione invidiabile, piscina superlativa, casa accogliente e ben attrezzata. Unico neo gli insetti fastidiosi. Punto privilegiato per diverse escursioni nella splendida Toscana è vicina Umbria
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in Ihrem Ferienhaus Schattseite 2. Auch unseren Enkelkindern hat es sehr gefallen, sie waren sehr glücklich in dieser Woche. Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig abseits der Straße, ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch eingerichtet. die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und es ist sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht wenn man sich selbst versorgen will . Ist es schön und warm kann man sehr gemütlich vor dem Haus Essen oder einfach nur sitzen. lesen, spielen.
Wir konnten gleich vom Haus aus Wanderung und Schwammerlsuche unternehmen. Dabei sind wir einfach den Wolferlbauernweg hinauf gewandert und haben genügend Eierschwammerl gefunden. Der Badeteich in Möderbrugg hat uns allen sehr gefallen und auch das Schaubergwerk in Oberzeiring haben speziell auf unsere Enkelkinder großen Eindruck hinterlassen. Also eine perfekte Urlaubswoche. Wir können ihr Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.

The house is in a wonderfully quiet location away from the street and is very cozy and authentically furnished. the bedrooms are spacious and it is very quiet at night. The kitchen offers everything you need if you want to cater for yourself. If it is nice and warm you can eat or just sit comfortably in front of the house. read, play.
We were able to go hiking and mushroom hunting right from the house. We simply hiked up the Wolferlbauernweg and found enough chanterelles. We all really enjoyed the swimming pond in Möderbrugg and the mine in Oberzeiring also made a big impression, especially on our grandchildren. So a perfect holiday week. We can highly recommend your holiday home.
Absolutely stunning view from terrasse with good chairs and good opportunity for shade from the plenty parasols.
Apartment is fully furnished with all in kitchen apart from microwave and dishwasher.
The host Alfredo is the most friendly person. He speaks only very few words English but can make it work.
There are a couple of restaurants very close, but you'll have to travel 5-10 minutes to get to more. There are so many romantic small cities nearby.
There are however very few plugs and in one of the bedrooms there are none. So remember to bring 10 meters of extension cord, Italian converters (very old plugs) and some power strips if you bring a mobile phone each for recharging.
Also there's no ventilation at the bathroom, so after a couple of persons bath it'll get quite damp.
Beds in guestroom are quite soft, but in master bedroom they are fine. Matter bedroom is towards main road, so if its hot and you'll have to sleep with open doors you'll get to enjoy the local petrolheads when they drive very fast and loud by almost all through the night every 10-30 minutes.
There's no aircondition as specified, so it can get hot during nights and we had a few Italian mosquitoes visiting during open windows at night. We can recommend taking the mattress to the terrasse for a good night sleep.
Overall we can recommend the place.
Pros: the pool is amazing and the owners were very helpful
Cons: it’s next to a busy road and another house is being constructed right next door so your view is obscured and I imagine once it’s finished the house won’t be very private. This isn’t shown on the photos so it’s a bit of a surprise when you arrive!
[counter comment from the owner] yes there is a one-storey house under construction, the works were suspended during the rental period and will start again from the end of September and will be completed by the end of this year 2023. The view will not be obscured, because it is only one floor and therefore the surrounding countryside will be clearly visible from the loggia of the villa.
Mooi huis, fijn zwembad (wel overal ondiep), fijne schaduwplekken in de tuin. Wij vonden het alleen heel erg afgelegen en de weg er naartoe is eigenlijk bijna niet begaanbaar (kuilen en keien). Heel slecht voor de auto. Dat maakte dat wij weinig uitstapjes hebben gemaakt.

We just thought it was very remote and the road to it was actually almost impassable (potholes and boulders). Very bad for the car. This meant that we made few trips.
