First of all, I have to say that we, as a group of four adults, two kids and a small dog, really enjoyed our stay at La Fragola.
The main benefits of the villa are privacy, the size of the area, a large and really nice pool, an outdoor grill and seating area, serenity and hospitality of the villa manager – Deborah.
Deborah contacted us via WhatsUp a few days before our scheduled arrival, so we could discuss the details regarding the check-in and the exact location of the villa. She showed us the villa itself on arrival and shared a few tips for our stay.
The location of the villa is imo really great. Not far away from the nearest house, but still offering a huge portion of privacy. Chianacce is small village. Despite the fact that the villa offer privacy and its located nearly outside of the village, it's still within walking distance (approx 300m) to the local market where you can easily buy everything you need. Chianacce offers also a small bar (bar Tabachi) which is located approx 1km from the villa but it's a nice traditional bar offering great coffee, croissants and other goods as well.
The villa itself is nice and offers large, spacious rooms – including a service room with a washing machine. On the other hand, I have to say that some furniture and equipment is outdated and the overall cleanness should be on a higher level. Otherwise, the stay at the villa was relaxing and we had a really great time there. We used the outside grill, spent every night drinking wine in the garden and had fun at the pool. Just be aware of mosquitos – these are problems in the whole area. We also brought bicycles and I really recommend that to all cycling fans as the region is really great for bike trips (even the fact that the road conditions are not the best – the panorama views will easily overcome it.
We have communicated our recommendations to the manager and I hope that they will solve the main issues before the start of the next season. We will definitely love to get back someday in the future.

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort. Sehr sauber. Netter Vermieter. Pool wir regelmäßig gereinigt. Wlan ist etwas schwach.

Schöne geräumige Ferienwohnung, und der Ausblick ist traumhaft!
Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Urlaub und wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und ordentlich, und bietet sehr viel Stauraum.
Die Küche ist mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, und wir waren auch dankbar für die Fliegengitter und die Fliegengittertüre, das ist in Kroatien nicht selbstverständlich - und es war einfach angenehm.
Wir können diese Wohnung gerne empfehlen!

We had a really nice holiday and were warmly welcomed. The apartment is clean and tidy, with plenty of storage space.
The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, and we were also grateful for the fly screens and the fly screen door, which is not common in Croatia - and it was just pleasant.
We can gladly recommend this apartment!

Appartamento molto carino, pulito e spazioso… ottima posizione tranquilla,in un ora si raggiungono delle città molto belle( Siena Montalcino Montepulciano…Assisi… ecc. ecc… posto auto esterno un po’ piccolo ma in compenso c’è un garage molto spazioso…. Siamo stati bene

the House was great
the service very good (very nice and courteous key holder)
the attributes of the house had some (critical) lacks: broken steps in the pool, broken chairs outside of the house, broken washing machine, non-functional WLAN/WiFi, wasp hives on the outside of the house

[Counter comment] The owner planned to fix the lacks now.

Chalet propre avec bel équipement et une vue bien dégagée. Seul inconvénient, il faut être sportif pour monter les nombreuses marches depuis la place de parc au bord de la route et le chalet isolé.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Clean chalet with good facilities and good views. The only drawback is that you have to be sporty to climb the many steps from the roadside parking space and the isolated chalet.

Michele and Maria were attentive and welcoming hosts who worked hard to make our stay memorable. The house is well equipped, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The gardens and pool area are lovely and the terrace is good when you want to get away from the sun or the mosquitoes.
The furniture is of good quality in a traditional style and the double bed is good if you like a firm mattress. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you need. We had a little trouble with the Wifi, this could have been us, but Michele made a special visit to replace the modem with a new one which was very kind.
All in all we had a great time and are very grateful.
