Our house was not clean when we arrived. We missed a welcome set (as an example a dishcloth, washing up liquid, sponge). although our house has a nice location (close to the beach, nice view), it is quite far away from other amenities (supermarket, restaurant, tram). You can hardly do without a car.
Overall the place was very good, ideal to rest.
The actual appartement offered great volumes though kitchen and bathroom standards not in line with price.
Feedback was provided to manager in charge on site in that regard.

Haus Rollin was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The check-in and check-out procedures were straightforward and efficient. Office staff were helpful and friendly. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend Haus Rollin for a stay in Zermatt!
Really good sized villa with a lovely pool and garden area. All bedrooms are doubles and 3 out of 4 have en suite. The only one without en-suite actually has the bathroom next door.
Downstairs is open plan with defined areas for kitchen, dining room and lounge. The veranda area is accessed via a bi fold door from the kitchen. It is a really good layout, being summer when I was there we hardly used the lounge as we were always outside.
Both upstairs bedrooms have private balconies with good views.
It is walking distance to supermarkets and you can walk into Calpe town but it will take a good 20 to 30 minutes. I preferred to drive, especially during the summer as it was so hot.
It would appear that all the villas in that area were rentals, most seemed to be quite short term and over the 2 weeks I was there we had a number of very noisy neighbours blaring out a mixture of Spanish techno and French rap at all hours of the night and morning. The good thing was they only seemed to be there for 3 nights each time.
You have to expect some noise though as you are in a rental area.
I would definitely stay here again though as I really liked the villa and would recommend it
The house is perfect for a holiday for grown-ups as the pool is rather small. Bedrooms are very nice and quite apart from each other. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works. The house feels larger than it is. The location is also superb, Siena and Firenze are not far away, not to mention Cortona.
