My family and I stayed here for a week at the end of August. For us, it was perfect. The property is a charming, rustic Tuscan farmhouse, but is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The balcony is a really nice spot to have breakfast or sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. It is very secluded and peaceful, surrounded by woods and farmland, but you will need a car to explore the region.
The pool was lovely, with plenty of sun loungers and shade, if needed. It wasn't heated, but in August the air temperature was mid 30s and the pool was around 24deg C.
The owners couldn't have been nicer. It's a family owned property and the welcome we got made us feel at home straight away. During the week, they'd check in with us to see if we needed anything, but without being intrusive. They were very helpful with information on places to visit, where to get shopping, local markets, etc. They offer an evening cooking class, teaching you to prepare Tuscan dishes, which you then sit down to eat. This was one of the highlights of the week for us. Great fun, friendly people and delicious food.
The only (literal) fly in the ointment was the mosquitoes. Take some decent mossie repellent.
All in all, one of the nicest holidays we've had and we all want to return at some point
This property was perfect for my family vacation. We had 11 people including 2 children and the property was perfect in every way. Nothing was broken (everything very nicely restored), the owner was very accommodating and offered help for all of our questions and booking needs, the air conditioning worked perfectly in all rooms, the little town Impruneta was nice and peaceful and close to the city of Florence, the villa had old world charm without any inconvenience, etc. Some of the communication through EasyReserve for coordination of extra services took a long time, but once I requested direct communication with the owner that was resolved quickly - something I would recommend for others. I found this property to be as nice as others that were priced much higher. I would highly recommend this property to others and would definitely stay there again.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Mutter der Vermieterin hat uns mit einem Tablett Keksen willkommen geheißen. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, das Grundstück riesig, die Ausstattung von Küche bzw. Geschirr etc. sehr in Ordnung. Besonderer Pluspunkt ist die Loggia, die sich sowohl für besonders heiße Tage als auch für kühlere Abende eignet. Auch super ist, dass es zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um Haus und Pool (der allerdings echt kalt ist) gibt.
Great location close to San Gimignano. Magnificent property with terrific view over the vineyards and valley. Ovile apartment is quite compact but has everything we needed for a great stay. The swimming pool area is very goo. The owner and his family are very friendly and wnet out of their way to ensure we had everything we need.
Perfect unless thé noise between the appartments (toilets noises, baby craying) and the martres too hard.
Our host is really kind and the place is marvellous : the view, the swimming pool and all the games for children are great !
Well located for visiting Toscana.
We had a lovely week in this property. The accommodation was excellent with 4 good sized double bedrooms. The kitchen was fairly basic but perfect for our needs with 2 fridges which were very useful. The grounds were stunning with the backdrop of a beautiful olive grove and a stunning swimming pool. The views were very impressive. The owners were delightful and we made good use of their excellent tennis court.
We had a great holiday and would love to go back.
The villa was just perfect for our group of 12 including 4 kids. The grounds and surrounding was just beautiful from enjoying barbeque outdoors to splashing in the pool and having walks amidst the sunflower fields. The owners were helpful and kind and we couldn't have asked for a better accommodation for this holiday.
Bellissima posizione, tranquilla e con un' incantevole vista. Funzionale la zona giorno, non curato il giardino e da rivedere i bagni. La cosa più urgente sarebbe l'installazione di zanzariere alle finestre.
