The apartment was nice and clean, everything you need is there. It is close to the city center and there are enough parking possibilities in front of the building.
Reduced stars du to no WLAN as promised. Even after several times asking the keyholder no solution was found. Spend 50€ extra for a foreign data package. Another point we disagree on is to pay the end-claening for an 1 year old baby.
We stayed in this beautiful and well-equiped house for 12 days. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it ! Thanks for the very warm welcome of Maria Cecilia. We chose this villa to visit the Chianti area. We had a great time exploring the many medieval villages! We can also recommend the Osteria alla Villa in Villa a Sesta, only a few hundred meters from the villa, where we often had a great diner at very resonable prices.
We have stayed in Pueblo Quinta 5 times before but 1st time in this apartment. It was clean but is very basic. The furniture is quite shabby, balcony small and furniture out their could do with a little bit of upgrade too.
On the plus, it is secure and in a good position although it has a lift we were advised it could not be used yet in the other PQ sections all lifts were good.
It is a pity that maybe some upgrading could make this just so much better without spending lots. Overpriced.
We are looking to book again in September but would not stay in this one again.
Staff were very helpful at all times.
My family and I stayed at Casale Giulio late May 2019. It was a wonderful time. The house is an old farmhouse that is surrounded by beautiful fields of wheat, cypresses, olive groves and a wide variety of wild flowers. It is a truly beautiful area. The views of Mt. Cetona were spectacular. The general area is very beautiful with beautiful houses nearby that are pleasant to look at from afar. The town of Cetona is beautiful and serene. Very quaint. Be mindful that the nearest grocery store keeps odd hours and was on one occasion closed when it should have been opened.
The owner is a great guy and very helpful. The neighbor lady farms the fields adjacent to the house and the home owner owns them as well. She was very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that the owner provide a barbecue for outdoor and a ‘American’ style drip coffee maker. Just be aware that the house is old and there are some minor inconveniences such as a long wait for hot water. But overall a great experience and in my view a good deal for the price. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity were to arise.
Overall we were very happy with the accomodation and facilities. The owners and cleaning lady were amenable to our requests regarding some maintenance issues which were promptly fixed. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Internet was only available downstairs and was quite patchy even there.
- [ ] Some minor items that we found missing included a cutting board, mugs for large coffees and a lighter for the cooktop. It would have been nice to have some more kitchen basics such as milk, sugar, tea and coffee on our arrival.
- [ ] We also had some cold evenings and there was no area downstairs where the twelve of us could gather, eat and stay warm
But overall we were happy with our rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were of a good size and the air conditioning worked well upstairs
